Internet Mastery Retreat Bali 2016

In July 2016, a few days after my 21st birthday, I hopped on a plane and flew halfway across the world. 26 hour later, I landed in Bali. It was 11pm at night and I made my way to my accommodation, which was close to Bali Cliff. Everybody in the house was asleep, and I was brutally hungry with no food, so I went straight to bed.

The Holiday Part

Over the next two weeks I met the most amazing people, surfed the most amazing waves, dived the most amazing reefs, and ate way to much amazing food. The house I stayed in was pretty much a surf house where people from all over the world congregated. Everybody in the house became friends and we all did stuff together, including partying pretty much every night!

The Business Part

After the two weeks were over, it was time to head off to Nusa Dua to attend Peng Joon’s Internet Mastery Retreat. I met up with my friends Marielle and Johan. Since our accommodation booking attempt was very late, we couldn’t get any rooms at the resort, so we ended up staying at ‘Cheap Hotel’ (that is literally what it was called). It wasn’t bad, and we rented ONE scooter in which we rode three up on, to the resort and back every day.

Now onto the course, it was absolutely amazing. Firstly, the amount of knowledge I gained from Peng Joon’s teaching was phenomenal, and the world seemed to get clearer every day. Secondly, the people I met were great. I made many great friends throughout the event who gave out lots of advice and shared many laughs.

I won’t go into detail about the things I learnt just yet, but this trip to Bali changed my entire mindset. I spent all the money I had to get to Bali, but I somehow made it all back within weeks of attending the course.

I can highly recommend attending any of Peng Joon’s courses. He is a very down to earth guy and has ridiculous amounts of knowledge to share.

Thats all for now.

All the best,

– Nic Findlay
